Spicy tamarind curry
- 1 Tamarind, lemon size, soaked in water and pulp extracted
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
- Curry Leaves few
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Sambar Powder
- Salt To taste
- Heat oil. Splutter mustard seed, curry leaves and onions till onions are light brown.
- Add tamarind extract, salt and sambar powder. Bring to boil.
- Adjust consistency with cup of water and taste by adding salt.
- Serve Vengaya pulithanni with hot rice.
