Traditional Ragi porridge made with goan palm jaggery. Tizann is a great comfort food & can be enjoyed as a breakfast in the form of a porridge or as a dessert in the form of a chilled pudding.
- 1 cup Nachani / Ragi / Finger Millet, soaked in water for 4 hours
- 1 Coconut, grated
- Goa Pyramid Jaggery / Palm Jaggery as per taste, grated
- 1 pinch Salt
- Grind nachni along with coconut and water to fine paste. Extract juice using muslin cloth.
- Mix grated jaggery to extract. Add salt and heat.
- Stir while heating till mixture thickens.
- Serve Tizann hot.
