Tarbooj podi

Watermelon seeds are rich with nutrients. We discard them. But this recipe is good way to incorporate them in our diet.

Watermelon seeds are packed with nutrients including fatty acids, essential proteins and lots of minerals. Around 100 gram of watermelon seeds provide around 600 calories. Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Watermelon Seeds, washed and shade dried
  • 8 Dry Red chilies
  • 5 Garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Dry roast all ingredients in a pan.
  2. Grind to powder.
  3. Adjust taste with salt.
  4. Serve tarbooj podi with rice or roti.
