Sprouted green gram stir fried with coconut and spices
- 250 grams Sprouted Green gram
- 1/4 cup Shallot, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Dried red chilli
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/4 cup Grated coconut
- Few Curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil as needed
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
- Add curry leaves and shallots, Sauté well.
- Add dried red chilli powder and mix well.
- Add sprouted green gram, salt, turmeric powder and mix well.
- Add 1/4 cup water and cook covered for 5 minutes.
- Add grated coconut and mix well.
- Serve Mulappicha cherupayar thoran with rice.
