Steamed rice balls (idli) made in jackfruit leaves
- 1 cup rice, small grain - soaked overnight
- 1/2 cup urad dal / black gram dal - soaked overnight
- large jackfruit leaves
- Grind dal and rice into fine paste. Add salt and adjust consistency.
- Make basket out of leaves. Put batter and steam for 15-20 mintues.
- Serve Khotto hot with chutney
