Kansar is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish made with wheat flour, jaggery and ghee. It is prepared during festivals and special occasions.
- 1 cup thick wheat flour
- 1 cup Jaggery
- 1 cup water
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 50 grams powdered sugar
- Mix wheat flour with 1tsp ghee and keep aside.
- Boil water and jaggery in a pan, add 1 tsp ghee and wheat flour and stir well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook until all the water is absorbed.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar before serving. Serve kansar hot.
