Tender green chickpeas tempered with cumin seeds
- 500 grams Choliya, washed
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- 1 pinch asafetida
- Salt to taste
- Heat oil. Splutter cumin seeds and asafoetida.
- Add the choliyaan and salt. Allow to cook for 15 minutes till choliya are soft.
- Serve jeera takda choliya hot.
