Bael chi barfi or Bael Vadi is Maharashtrian sweet dish made from bael fruit. Simply put it is fudge of bael pulp.
- 1 Bael Fruit
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom Powder
- 1 tablespoon grounded Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ghee
- Mix bael fruit pulp with sugar and cook until paste is dry.
- Add cardamom powder, grounded sugar and stir.
- Grease a plate with ghee and spread the mixture evenly.
- Allow to cool. cut into diamond shapes. Enjoy bael chi barfi as a healthy snack.
