Pancakes made from Coconut and rice served along with spiced tomato dip
- 2 cups rice, soaked for 2 hrs.
- 2 cups coconut, freshly grated
- salt to taste
- oil for greasing
- Grind soaked rice along with coconut to fine batter. Allow to rest for 30 minutes.
- Heat tawa. Grease with oil. Spread spoonful of batter into flat bread. Bake till pitha is cooked. Do not flip.
- Serve Nadia Chithau Pitha hot with tomato khatta/Tomato Chutney
