Mangalore Bun

Bread made from flour and banana

Ingredients

  • 1/4 kilogram All purpose flour (maida)
  • 1 large Bananas
  • 2 tablespoons Curds
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Soda
  • 1 tablespoon Oil/ghee
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Knead ingredients into soft dough.
  2. Allow it to rest overnight.
  3. Make small balls of dough & roll into puri shape. Deep fry till golden brown on all sides.
  4. Serve hot with coconut chutney
