Broken puffed rice teamed with jaggery, nuts and seasame
- 2 cups laayo/laayi
- 150 grams Jaggery
- 2 tablespoons kali til / black sesame seeds
- 12 cashewnuts, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
- Dry roast til and cashewnuts separately. Keep aside.
- Heat jaggery along with water to make sticky jaggery paste.
- As syrup cools a bit, add cardamom powder, roasted sesame seeds, cashew nuts and puffed grains. Stir well quickly.
- Make balls of mixture with greased hand. Allow to cool.
